An early morning fire at the Independence Ridge apartment complex displaced 42 individuals. The Red Cross was on the scene and provided emergency assistance.
A late-night fire affected 54 apartment units and displaced several families. Nine people stayed at the Red Cross shelter overnight and enjoyed a quick bite before heading out for the day.
